Abstract
This inaugural address reflects on the mission, achievements, and future directions of the Loyola School of Theology as it celebrates sixty years as a theological school and twenty-five years as an ecclesiastical faculty. It highlights institutional milestones, including internationalization, academic collaborations, research initiatives, and program expansion. The address emphasizes LST’s commitment to contextual theologizing in Asia, interdisciplinary engagement, and pastoral relevance. It also identifies emerging challenges, including artificial intelligence, integral ecology, synodality, and safeguarding. Ultimately, it calls the LST community to collaborative discernment in shaping a new strategic plan that strengthens theological formation for the Church’s mission.
