Abstract
This paper explores the Filipino concept of loob as a culturally rooted understanding of conscience, building on earlier inculturation efforts. It proposes the development of kusang-loob and ka-Kristong loob as pathways for orienting conscience toward Christ. Emphasizing that conscience formation is both personal and communal, the article highlights the importance of dialogue and attentive listening within th Church. It argues that such formation unfolds within a synodal process that fosters maturity, discernment, and deeper Christian identity.
