Abstract

This article presents an exegetical study of Paul’s encounter with the Risen Christ as narrated in Paul’s letters and in the account of Luke–Acts. It critically examines whether the term “conversion” adequately describes Paul’s experience in light of his own self-understanding. The study suggests that concepts such as transformation or reconfiguration may more accurately capture the shift in Paul’s perspective and mission. It also explores how this experience shaped Paul’s continuing relationship with Judaism and his theological interpretation of the event.
