Abstract

This study examines the vision of youth as evangelizers in Asia as articulated by the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences (FABC), with particular reference to the pastoral context of the Church in Goa. Grounded in the theological themes of communio ecclesiology, evangelization, and missional participation, the paper argues that young people should be recognized not merely as recipients of pastoral care but as active agents of the Church’s missionary mission. Considering the social and cultural realities affecting Asian youth, the study highlights the importance of accompaniment, formation in mission, and a relevant spirituality. It proposes practical pastoral directions to empower youth participation in realizing the FABC vision of a “new way of being Church.”
