Abstract
In this paper, the author shares his experiences of working with and for the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences in this important area, thus giving us a picture of how an FABC office operates. The seminars organized and papers produced reveal how the FABC-OC has been true to its mission to renew and empower the clergy in the Asian context to deal with the contemporary challenges in their priestly life and ministry. The paper also identifies a number of vital prospects that the FABC-OC is currently aiming at towards the renewal of the clergy in Asia, as well as to respond to pressing issues such as the clergy abuse crisis.
