Abstract

Excerpt: In MunkeyMusic and PETA’s brisk one-act musical Changing Partners, four actors play two roles—May-December partners Cris and Alex—in rigadoon-style melees across four scenes. Hence, in the opening scene, Sandino Martin plays Cris opposite Agot Isidro’s Alex, but he disappears off stage at the end of the scene and Anna Luna enters and takes over the role. In the next scene, it is Isidro who exits and her character Alex returns played by Jojit Lorenzo. And so forth.
