Abstract
This study explores the concept of “all-under-Heaven” as a framework for proclaiming Christ within Chinese culture. It employs the Pastoral Cycle method from the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences (FABC), integrating historical- theological analysis. The research emphasizes the need for inculturating the Gospel within the Chinese notion of “all-under-Heaven” to address the societal impacts of Marxism, Leninism, and Mao-Zedong-Thought. By examining the Chinese ideal of Great Unity (Da Tong) and the Judeo-Christian tradition of a heavenly God, the study proposes that “all-under-Heaven” can serve as a theological foundation for harmony and the unity of humanity under divine principles. The research aims to present “all-under-Heaven” as a vision for integrating Christian theology with Chinese cultural and spiritual traditions.
