Abstract

Ang Ateneo ENTABLADO ay isa sa tatlong pangkat panteatro ng Pamantasang Ateneo de Manila. Tinatangi ng ENTABLADO ang sarili sa pamamagitan ng pagpapakilala sa sarili nito bilang sosyo-politikal na pangkat panteatro. Nais siyasatin ng pag-aaral kung paano umusbong at sumulong ang isang sosyo-politikal na pangkat panteatro sa loob ng isang paaralang eksklusibo. Nilalayon ng pag-aaral samakatwid na taluntunin ang tradisyong pantanghalan at sosyo-politikal ng Ateneo ENTABLADO. Iuugat ito ng pag-aaral sa mayamang tradisyong pantanghalan at sosyo-politikal ng mismong institusyong kinabibilangan nito, ang Pamantasang Ateneo de Manila. Gagamitin ng pag-aaral bilang konseptuwal na balangkas ang diskurso ng (pa)loob at (pa)labas upang masiyasat kung paanong ipinaloob (internalize) at pinalabas (perform) ng Ateneo ENTABLADO ang mga tradisyong pantanghalan at sosyo-politikal ng Ateneo de Manila mula noong tinatag ito ng mga Heswita noong 1859 hanggang sa kasalukuyan.

English Abstract

Ateneo ENTABLADO is one of the three theater organizations in the Ateneo de Manila University. ENTABLADO distinguishes itself among the three as the university’s socio-political theater organization. The study then seeks to discover how a socio-political theater organization formed and developed within an exclusive school. To this end, the study seeks to map the theatrical and socio-political traditions of Ateneo ENTABLADO by tracing these within the theatrical and socio-political traditions of the very institution that houses it, the Ateneo de Manila University. Using the discourse of internalization and externalization, the study will trace how Ateneo ENTABLADO internalized (ipinaloob) and performed (pinalabas) the theatrical and socio-political traditions of the Ateneo de Manila from when it was first established by the Jesuits in 1859 until the presenttime.
