Abstract

The integrating paper focuses on the development of guidance modules designed to address thepersonal, social, and academic concerns of Grades 4, 5, and 6 students. Grounded in Social andEmotional Learning (SEL) principles, the modules align with the mission of an all-girls school inMetro Manila that emphasizes experiential, innovative, and values-based learning. Using a needs-based approach, data from counseling sessions with students and responses from parents instudent information sheets were analyzed to identify the concerns of each grade level. Thefindings revealed a high prevalence of anxiety-related concerns and academic stress amongstudents. Each grade-specific module addresses developmental concerns: Grade 4 focuses onbuilding self-confidence, managing mistakes, resolving conflicts, and enhancing focus; Grade 5emphasizes asserting boundaries, conflict resolution, and coping with academic challenges; andGrade 6 addresses mental health awareness, navigating digital friendships, and managingacademic pressure. Designed to promote emotional well-being and holistic growth, the modulesaim to equip students with essential skills for success while providing a replicable framework foraddressing post-pandemic challenges in educational settings.
