Abstract
This research critically evaluates the extent of contextualization within Grade 10 English Learning Modules, focusing on the challenges posed by remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study underscores the pressing necessity for educational materials to adhere to contextualization principles, acknowledging the diverse obstacles faced by students in the digital learning landscape (Smith, Johnson, & Davis, 2020). Employing a systematic document analysis approach, the research investigates the modules' contextualization concerning authenticity, relevance, social consciousness, and transference. The resulting insights are anticipated to contribute valuable recommendations for enhancing the quality of educational materials and elevating the learning experience, particularly in the unique circumstances brought about by the pandemic (Jones & Garcia, 2018; Robinson, 2021).
