Abstract
This article accounts for the first time the cultural work that Filipino artists have produced in response to the Duterte administration's war on drugs. We survey the work across five fields: theater; film; music; visual art; and literature. We then conclude by reflecting on the implications of the present sociopolitical and economic climate on Philippine arts and literature; identifying the gaps in the field; and marking out the possible paths forward for Filipino cultural workers.
