This volume offers crucial insights for Southeast Asia’s urban planners, energy strategists, and regional policymakers. It addresses the challenges and opportunities faced by key stakeholders involved in shaping the region’s energy future—a timely and multidisciplinary compendium in technical, political, economic, and social nuances in Southeast Asia’s energy transition and the ongoing energy investments in the region. In the Philippines alone, approved investments in the electricity, gas, and steam sector reached ₱991.61 billion in 2025 (Mapa 2026).
