Abstract
Excerpt: The digital spaces of the Global South are one of the vibrant arenas wherein public interest discourse is actively shaped, rights are asserted, and socioeconomic imbalances are exposed in ways that bypass, at times contest, and on other occasions affirm institutions of power. As a discursive space, invariable articulations of citizenship emerged in these cybernetic zones diversely regarded as insurgent, critical, decolonial, and a range of other positions.
