Abstract

The article discusses the making sense of Philippine President Benigno S. Aquino III's Tuwid na Landas for constitutional reform in the systems of checks and balances. It highlights the Inaugural Address of Aquino on June 30, 2010 that marked the statement Tayo na sa tuwid na landas, which encourages Filipino to take the righteous path. It explores the doctrine of separation of powers, the rule of law, and the principle of checks and balances. It also focuses on the constitutional reform.
