Abstract

This article first discusses the author's experiences in practicing social mission through cooperation with church members, interfaith dialogue, ecumenical joint activities, and collaboration with civil NGOs in defending human rights through synodal spirit. Then, it identifies the seeds of synodal spirit that have already sprouted from these experiences, including verification of five synodal principles and attitudes. Finally, it reflects on the challenges and preparations needed for social service organizations or groups to carry out the church's social mission through synodality. In social services within diverse backgrounds, implementing respect, full communication, sharing the responsibilities, cooperation, and promoting communion through synodal spirit and methods becomes a force for manifesting gospel values and changing and influencing society.
